Four Tourism NI 4-star self-catering cottages within an enclosed courtyard at Ballydougan Pottery.
Welcome to Bramley Apple Cottage, Wheat Loft Apartment, Gaskin's Grove Cottage and Potter's Cottage. Originally fine old listed stone barns, each has been sympathetically converted into modern, comfortable Tourism NI 4-star self-catering holiday accommodation.
Each cottage is bright and spacious, with a living room/kitchen, well equipped for cooking and featuring pottery made by Sean and his team of potters.
Bedrooms are furnished in a traditional style with fine oak beds, wardrobes and dressing tables, complemented by crisp white bed linen.
Bathrooms include WC, bath with over-bath shower and shaver point, with the exception of Gaskin's Grove, which offers accessible facilities and a walk-in shower. Hairdryers and soft white fluffy towels are also provided.
Why not take time to meander around Bloomvale House, or sit in the courtyard garden and enjoy a freshly made cappuccino from The Thatch Restaurant & Coffee Shop. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, picnics, or dinner in your own cottage after a day touring can all be arranged.
A perfect combination for good home cooking served on our own pottery in the comfortable surroundings of your “home away from home”.
Situated close to Craigavon, Portadown, Lurgan and Banbridge, and an enjoyable drive to Armagh, Belfast, the Mourne Mountains and scenic coastline, Lough Neagh and the North Coast, Ballydougan is a great base for exploring Northern Ireland.
The Thatch Restaurant & Coffee Shop is open Monday – Saturday, 9.00am – 4.30pm. Please contact us for holiday closure dates.
